About the Artist:

My name is Heather Maureen and I have been an artist for about 18 years.

I guess I have always been "crafty". I became shamelessly addicted to primitive folk and vintage Halloween art. I do stenciling as well, mostly on old prim signs. My favorite medium to work with are acrylics, but as of recent I have begun dabbling with stitchery.

My style is Extreme Prim folk-art & Whimsy. Halloween is my favorite time of year. I was married on All Hallow's Eve. For me it lasts from August through Oct 31st (usually ending in a trip to Salem, MA.).

My family will tell you for me, it is year round. I have 4 beautiful small children who often make it very difficult to work, but very worthwhile to be here. I closed a small business when I moved and I have been doing business as Witch Hollow Primitives on Ebay (and some other small auction sites) since 1998.

I do a lot of craft shows every year and attracted quite a following with my Halloween Luminaries plus I have a booth in a local craft mall. On Saturday Oct. 20th I contracted with a new shop who will also carry my primitive Christmas line. I am excited about this, however my favorite is still custom orders for buyers.
