About the Artist:

I have been honored to be in the Dolls Magazine, and have won 1st prize in the doll shows on the west coast.

Living out in the country as I do is a wonderful opportunity to find great vintage fabrics, lace, chenille, etc. for creating one of a kind designs.

I love to work with a variety of textures including decorative imported French yarn and ribbon, antique laces and trims etc.

I have been designing dolls for many years, they just seem to be a part of my life. I love to add a touch of playful whimsy to each of my designs. Recently, my daughter (a former graphic artist) and I have combined our talents to come up with wonderfully spooky creations.

My daughter and I have soft sculptured the facial features, and have used paints, artist pencils and sewn on eyelids for added detailing. We use new to vintage fabrics, trims and bobbles. The dolls range from 8" to 25" in height.
