About the Artist:

Besides inheriting a bit of natural-born talent, I am a self taught artist. I love the simplicity and imperfections of folk art and creating dolls in my basement studio with candles burning and orange twinkling lights around the ceiling is my idea of a perfect day - quiet solitude and art supplies!

Each doll is one of a kind, hand sculpted in clay. They are made one at a time without molds or patterns, which gives them their own unique charm and appeal.

I have been selling my original folk art from my website for 11 years, and locally here in Oregon for 30 years. I have sold through galleries and gift shops, including Folk Works Gallery in Evanston, IL. I love Halloween more than any other holiday and feel privileged to be a part of HalloweenArtists.com.
