January 2008

What better month for something GREEN than March!

Set aside that St. Patrick's Day beer and try THIS ghoulishly green and devilishly delicious recipe!

Green Slime

Ingredients:
10 oz Frozen Spinach
Thawed 4 oz Cream Cheese
1/2 c Sour Cream
1/3 c Mild Salsa
2 ea Green Onions, Chopped
1 ea Garlic Clove, minced
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper

1. Drain your spinach in a pasta drainer, being sure to push as much water out as possible. If needed you can blot the spinach after squeezing with paper towels. It doesn't have to be totally dry, but not wet.

2. In food processor, pure spinach, cheese, sour cream, salsa, onions, garlic, salt and pepper.

3. When thoroughly mixed place into a Tupperware or covered bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours or until thickened slightly. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes and serve with crackers or fresh bread from the bakery.

If YOU have a favorite devilishly delicious recipe to share, stop by our Halloween Artists blog and let us know or email me directly!

Till next time,
Ashlie
