Boo Beverage
Prep Time: 15 min.
Ready Time: 15 min.
Yield: 9 servings
Drink Ingredients:
• 2 cups orange juice
• 2 cups milk
• 2 pints orange sherbet
• 4 ripe bananas
• 2 cups whipped topping
• 18 miniature chocolate chips
Directions:
1. In four batches blend the orange juice, milk, sherbet and
bananas in a blender until smooth. You may also whisk these
ingredients in your stand mixer with the whisk attachment if
you have one available.
2. Pour into the glasses of your choice… goblets are a nice
choice!
3. Cut a hole in the corner of a Ziploc bag and fill with
whipped topping. You can use either store made or home made
(see recipe below).
4. Pipe a ghost shape on top of each beverage. Or if you
like, you may form a dollop of whipped topping to create a
more 3 dimensional ghost. This all depends on the thickness
of your drink mixture. You may add more sherbet and bananas
to increase the thickness of your drink.
5. Place your chocolate chips on the head of each little
ghost to give the appearance of eyes.
6. Serve and enjoy!
Home-made Whipped Cream Ingredients:
• Whipping cream
• ¼ cup sugar
• 1 tsp. Vanilla
In a mixer or with a hand held mixer combing whipping cream,
sugar and vanilla. Be sure as to add your sugar slowly to
your mixture as to not have a gritty whipped topping. Beat
on high until peaks form. For a stiffer whipped topping whip
a little longer until desired consistency is achieved. You
may also do this by hand with a whisk but it will require
more time and lots of momentum!
