About the Artist:

Welcome to my little spot, Cottage Garden Studios. I create whimsical art and illustrations. I work in several mediums - acrylics, colored pencils, pen and ink & Fimo clay. I work on canvas, wood, card stock, pretty much anything that does not move. I have a passion for holiday art, especially Halloween and Fall! I’m also very fond of doing busy, activity filled primitives.

I’ve been trained both in school and privately in traditional fine art. I can do “real" - I guess I just enjoy doing whimsy. I’m guessing this may come from having been a preschool teacher for 23 years. I do love children’s books and creating for children. I have used my artwork to add to curriculum over the years for several different age groups. I have had my work in galleries, art shows & now sell primarily online.
