I was published
in the Fall 2009 Issue of Celebrate 365: A
Journal for the Ornament Enthusiast, as the
collector’s feature. In my opinion one of the
best issues ever!!!
I have also been
published as an artist in Celebrate 365 (summer
and fall 2010) and Cloth Paper Scissors (“A
Haunting We Will Go Challenge”, Sept/Oct 2010).
I love Halloween art, not the creepy scary kind,
but the fun whimsical kind.
Many pieces in my
collection are of my famous dog Twinkle.
She
served as the muse for many artists throughout
the years. She has been reincarnated in ink,
clay, and fabric by many well known folk
artists. It is hard for them to say no, when
they see her puggy face.
Many people think
she is a French bulldog; however she is a
pug-Boston terrier mix.
She loves seeing
all the new works of art and in fact have given
several of them a lick of approval. Look for new
versions of Twinkle on my collecting blog:

One
of the new items shown in the pictures here is
my Halloween tree. This Halloween tree is
covered in over 50 Halloween ornaments, each an
original and hand made by artists.
It will soon have
a tree skirt made by my mother, who is a very
talented seamstress! I guess that is where I
have gotten my art abilities. Look for more
photos of the tree also on my blog.
Happy Halloween!
