About the Artist:
Hi, I'm Cindy Tevis. I live in a small cottage on the water
in the Midwest. Halloween is a part of my soul. Every fall, as
far back as I can remember, I would get the "itch" to craft.
Usually my creations would go to friends and family members as
gifts, sometimes I would sell at craft shows. Then about three
years ago, I did an ebay search on Halloween art, and I found my
place in this world! I realized that I was not alone in this
passion, and began to sell my art, and even more important, I
began to make wonderful friends.

I find unique items
at thrift stores, and transform them into Halloween decor. I
call my style "Shabby Hag". It is a Halloween spin on "Shabby
Chic". I use three simple colors in most pieces, giving each
piece a very vintage feel. I also make Halloween greeting cards,
and invitations.
Another
of my passions is Halloween poetry. A little creation I've come
up with is Halloween Poetry cards. These are my poems screen
printed on 3.5 by 5 inch cards, they can be easily and
inexpensively framed, making them a nice little gift. Just
recently I have begun working with polymer clay, making
Halloween charms and jewelry. Simply stated, I create Halloween
art because I love doing it.
You can also find me at my I Dream of Halloween blog. Thanks for
stopping by my page. HA31 is a wonderful group made up of many
talented Halloween artists. I am honored to be here.
